Our magnetic lashes use upper and lower strips that attach around your natural lashes. No lash glue or magnetic eyeliner is needed. Here is how to prepare, practise and remove your kit.

First, check which type of magnetic lashes you have
Not every magnetic lash kit works the same way. Some attach to magnetic eyeliner; others use an upper and lower strip. The Prep Store’s Magnetic Lash Kit uses the second method: the strips come together around your natural lashes with a shaped applicator.
This guide is for that sandwich-style system. Use the directions included with your specific kit if you have a different product.
1. Prepare your kit and your space
Give yourself a clear mirror, good light and a little uninterrupted time for your first try. Wash and dry your hands. Start with clean, dry lashes and check that the magnetic strips are intact.
Set out the compact and applicator so you do not have to search for them halfway through. Identify the upper and lower strips before lifting them from their storage position. Keep your matching spare stored safely for later.
2. Position the strips on the applicator
Gently separate the upper and lower strips without pulling on the lash fibres. Position each strip on its corresponding applicator surface, following the illustrated instructions supplied with the kit.
Take a moment to check that the strips face the right way and sit neatly on the tool. If they are twisted or uneven, reset them before bringing the applicator towards your eye. Do not cut through or alter the magnets.
3. Align around your natural lashes
With a steady hand and a clear view of your lash line, align the loaded applicator so your natural lashes sit between the upper and lower strips. Bring them together gently as shown in your kit instructions, then release the applicator carefully.
Keep the tool away from the eye surface and avoid catching eyelid skin. Check how the lash sits before doing the other eye. It should feel comfortable; if the placement feels wrong, remove and reset it rather than pressing harder.
A first attempt can take practice. There is no need to race a three-second application claim or get both eyes right immediately.
4. Remove gently and store
Remove your lashes before sleeping. Follow the supplied removal directions and gently separate the magnetic strips; never yank on your natural lashes. Inspect the strips, clean as directed and return them to the compact once dry.
Do not apply the kit over lash extensions. Stop using it if you experience irritation or discomfort. For storage and reuse details, see our magnetic lash care guide.
Which style should you start with?
Choose Everyday for softer definition or Full Glam for a fuller finish. Both use the same application method, so the decision is about the look you prefer—not a different application skill.
